Unsolicited "spam" e-mail is, unfortunately, a fact of life on the
Internet today. OxONet's mail servers employ a sophisticated
two-tier spam filtering system to help reduce the amount of unwanted e-mail you
receive.At the first tier, our servers use several public IP blacklists to
identify servers which are known sources of spam, and prevent mail sent from
these servers from ever reaching your inbox. As a second tier of
protection, OxONet uses a powerful industry-leading tool called SpamAssassion to
identity messages whose content suggests that they may be spam. SpamAssassin marks
such messages for your review, as there occasionally may be false positives.
This two-tiered approach to spam detection ensures that you will
receive the fewest number of unsolicited e-mail messages possible. Close |
